What's pulling you?
The difference between the average and the exceptional isn't intelligence or opportunity—it's consistent execution toward a vision that pulls you forward.
Too much to do, too much to fix, not enough time.
Rather than fixing our flaws, many of us become resigned to accepting them. Some people would even claim that's a good thing. We're supposed to accept ourselves as we are, right?
But humanity is moved forward not by those who accept, but by those who strive.
For the past 20 years, I've had a vision in my mind of who I want to be. Always fuzzy—it was more themes than an actual person.
I’ve been distracted most of my life, but that’s ok. For the past 5-6 years, I've marched towards that vision.
Sometimes I was misguided.
Sometimes I marched in the wrong direction.
Many times I made mistakes (I still do).
But I always marched.
In my experience, consistency creates clarity. What starts as a vague direction eventually reveals itself as a defined path.
The vision becomes clearer. I can see the path. I know what I need to do.
Now I just need to do it.
The gap between knowing and doing is where most people spend their lives.
The difference between the average and the exceptional isn't intelligence or opportunity—it's consistent execution toward a vision that pulls you forward.
