Great blog. Two months ago, we open-sourced our streaming database, https://github.com/timeplus-io/proton, written in C++ and built on top of ClickHouse, one of the fastest OLAP. Comparing to other streaming databases, we probably provide the best OLAP capability(e.g. columnar storage and SIMD) and the best user interface(live dashboard/alert/lineage on Timeplus Cloud).
